Flame resistant fabric M1

All mattresses in the Terxy® Contract line are manufactured with M1 flame retardant Trevira CS® fabric. It has antibacterial and flame retardant properties that do not weaken over time and use. This flame-retardant fabric complies with all European and national fire safety regulations after successfully passing the most demanding combustion prevention tests: cigarette and butane flame.

All the mattresses featuring in theTerxy® Contract range are made with M1 flame retardant fabric in Trevira CS® textile. It has antibacterial and fire-retardant properties that do not weaken over time and use. This flame retardant textile complies with all European and national fire prevention safety regulations after successfully passing the most demanding combustion behaviour (ignitibility) tests: cigarette and butane flame testing.

In addition to the protection and assurance our products offer, Trevira CS® is easy to clean, dries quickly and is washable at low temperatures.

Insect-proof treatment

This treatment, applied to our M1 Fireproof Fabric, is specially designed for the surface of the mattress without damaging the fabrics. It is the best repellent for insects, mites and is especially effective for bed bugs.

Okeo-tex: Oeko tex standard 100 product class i with number aitex 2003an2470, is the world's leading ecolabel to certify the absence of harmful substances in textiles. This label attached to mattresses, certifies that none of the elements with which mattresses are manufactured (fabrics, cores, spring pockets, threads, labels and zippers) represents a potential danger to health. Class i meets the highest standards regarding human ecology for articles for babies.

Lga: This guarantees a 100% healthy sleep experience without toxic substances. Under number 21208433001, this validation is only granted to products whose production process pays special attention to hygiene and that fulfil all the regulated microbiological requirements.

Certipur: guarantees that the mattress foam complies with the restrictions applicable to the substances that could be harmful to our health or the environment. It specifies which substances should not be used in the manufacture of polyurethane foams and establishes maximum and strict thresholds for certain components.

Eurolatex: this eco standard defines the maximum acceptable thresholds for substances considered harmful to health that could be present in latex foam cores.

Eco-institut: it marks the articles that fulfil the strictest requirements of contaminants and emissions, guaranteeing healthier products and, therefore, less toxicological contamination at households.

Reach: this is the european legislation regarding the use of chemical substances. It entered into force in june 2007 and its implementation process will last until 2018, becoming obligatory in 2019. It is being implemented at terxy® and therefore we can guarantee a high degree of protection to human health and the environment.
